We are preparing to join the European Union. There is a lot of information considering politics, economy, law etc. which is given to you through the media. You may feel tired with too difficult and too official words. Why not do something about it? Would you like to meet ordinary people from other countries who are like you and who have the same everyday problems. They live not very far away from you - this is Europe. There are so many cultures and traditions and you may learn them. How to do it? Don't stay at home. Visit the countries but first you have to plan Your Perfect Holiday.

The summer holiday is coming soon and it is high time you planned your holiday. You will work in groups of 2 - 4 people. Your task is to plan your journey through at least three interesting places in Europe (in one or more countries) within a month. You should think about different forms of activities:
- visiting historical places, museums, cultural events (festivals, concerts etc.), sport and recreational opportunities.
You will also have to decide the means of transport:
- by coach, by ferry, by plane, by car, by bike or even hitch-hiking.

Hopefully you have increased your knowledge about some of the European countries. You have studied their culture and history. What is more, you are not afraid of the Internet any more, you are now able to plan your own holidays staying at home. You don't have to visit all travel offices in your home town and the nearest area. Now you are self-reliant. Just try to do it and you will find it isn't difficult.
