KORYCIN
Korycin is situated on the outskirts of the Knyszynska Primeval Forest and the Biebrzanski National Park. The two rivers flowing near Korycin create a charming, natural landscape with rich flora and fauna. The farms along the rivers have environmentally friendly sewage systems. Korycin has good local connections, thanks to international road number 19 which passes through the heart of the area.
Tourist attractions include: remains of villages from the Middle Ages, a Neogothic church from the 19th and 20th c., a stone belfry (18th c.), the park (18th c.) and old urban structures. Korycin has had municipal rights since 1634 and became a parish in 1601.
